Start over – Anyone flick the reset switch on their Atari 2600?

There is something refreshing about starting over.  After the reset switch is flicked.  The same choices will not be made.   A new plan is put into place.  The new choices let you move down a different path.  The path may provide a better outcome.  The path may provide an outcome that is less desirable.

Life does not always have a reset switch.  However, we get second chances all the time.

Choose wisely.

This quote came from the great one Wayne Gretsky. It makes sense. If you sit on the bench or if you don’t seize the opportunity when it presents itself you pass on taking the shot.

We have all seen it. Everyone is on the sideline rooting for the player. Collectively they yell, “Take the shot!” He then chooses to pass. The pass goes to a player that is in a worse position to shoot and the team experiences a change of possession.

In life, the statment might go something like this, “You seem like your in a better position to deal with this client, why don’t you take the lead.” Before you made that decision, did you take a second and listen to the crowd yell, “Take the shot!”

I plan to keep the original blog and this new one as well.  As you might have guessed, I will post some thoughts here.  If you have questions, go ahead and ask them.  If you have concerns go ahead and keep those to yourself.  Well okay you can email those to me.  I don’t mind constructive criticism.   I love to teach people.  I love to help people.  I love to talk to people.  Yes I am an ENFP, for all you Myers Briggs Fans.   So please let me know what you are thinking.
